Mr. TK Leong

Mr Leong is an accomplished educator with 19 years of diverse experience in the field of education. Having taught at various institutions, ranging from international schools to tertiary education, Mr Leong has honed expertise in providing quality instruction to students at different academic levels. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology, as well as a Master of Science in Biology and a Master of Business Administration, Mr Leong possesses a unique interdisciplinary perspective. Driven by a passion for education, he firmly believes in the transformative power of education to positively impact individuals' lives.
Ray has been with Prime International since 2020 as a teacher of science, after which he was promoted to Head of the Science Department and Vice Head of Academics. With a background in Biomedical Science and 5 years of teaching experience, he can inspire young students to explore the world of science with high levels of curiosity. With the creativity of other dedicated staff at Prime International, he is passionate about providing students with a sound foundation for lifelong learning.

Navin has a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Malaya. He was also one of the top STPM students in Johor, and he represented the state in Pentanque and Tug of war. He was the President of the History Club at university, and represented the university for Tug of War, Pentanque, and Kabbadi. He completed his internship at the Selangor Museum and was an archaeologist for 6 months before teaching History and Malay for over 6 years. Currently, he is teaching Global Perspectives and Malay to students of Year 7 to Year 10 at Prime International.
Shirnie Chan
(Head of ICT)
Shirnie Chan holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from University of London. She has previously taught ICT and Computer Science in UK. At Prime International Secondary School, she teaches Science across a wide selection of Secondary Key Stages. In the classroom she always strives to create a positive, engaging, and fair working environment, enabling her students to build within themselves a good working ethos.
Lee Huoi see

PREMDEEP KAUR

Lee Huoi See is an experienced Mandarin teacher. She graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Social Science in 2003. With her passion in teaching over the past 10 years, she has worked with students of all ages, from Grade 1 up to Grade 11 with an interactive and engaging style to enhance the learning process among students. Lessons are tailor made for each student’s needs, so that they can learn at their own pace and develop their skills as quickly as possible.
Premdeep Kaur has more than 20 years of experience as an Educator in different private schools. She earned her NCC UK Higher Diploma in Computer Studies. She also has a Diploma in Secretarial Studies from Singapore. She is fully trained in the Montessori Pedagogy and completed the Cambridge International Diploma in Teachers’ Training program (CIDTT) in 2012. She has a special interest in the Performing Arts, especially in drama and her leisure time is spent reading. At Prime International Secondary School, she teaches Accounting and is Head of the Commerce and Humanities Department.
Ivan Kua
(Head of Examination)
Ivan Kua was awarded an honors Bachelor of Electronic Engineering degree from the Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka in 2021 and has 1 year teaching experience at primary school level. Currently, he is teaching Math to Secondary students and teaches dance for Cocurricular Activities at Prime International Secondary School. He choregraphed the first flash mob dance for a Public Speaking event at the IOI mall organized by Prime International in 2022. He has a passion for math and science and has participated in several related competitions and workshops.
Mabel Chai
(Head of Administration)
Mabel graduated with a Bachelor of International Business in 2018. At Prime International Secondary School, she is in charge of Human Resources and Accounting and has had five years of experience in education.
Kaausalya A/P Muthuramalingam
Kaausalya, has a BSC in Horticulture from the University Putra Malaysia (UPM), and has established a solid foundation in horticultural sciences. Over the past ten years, she has been passionately involved in teaching and tutoring Mathematics for both National and IGCSE syllabuses. This extensive experience reflects her commitment to fostering academic excellence, especially in Mathematics at the KS3 and KS4 levels in Prime International Secondary School, showcasing her dedication to the art of teaching Mathematics.
DARSHINI
Darshini pursued a Diploma in Early Childhood Education to facilitate her desire to nurture children the right way. She went on to complete the bachelor’s degree in Education to enhance her career and passion for teaching. Her philosophy is to ‘educate the hearts before the brains ‘by teaching students the art of love to facilitate the learning process. As a student-oriented teacher, her priority is to understand the unique needs and interests of every student to tailor make her teaching style for interesting and interactive lessons. Every lesson is engaging and designed with language-related activities for creativity. Leadership qualities are also instilled, providing opportunities for students to take initiative, collaborate, and make decisions, both inside and outside the classroom with no limits to reaching their potential.
Robiatul Nabilah binti Nur Zubaidi
Robiatul Nabilah, a seasoned educator and linguist, with a Master's degree in Linguistics from UKM, Bangi. Eager to further enhance her teaching skills, recently a Postgraduate degree which is at USM, Penang specialising in linguistics. With a rich background encompassing 3 years of teaching experience in both government and private schools, she has honed her skills in imparting knowledge effectively. Currently serving as a dedicated educator at Prime International Secondary School, Robiatul specializes in teaching Malay as a second language. Her commitment to fostering a conducive learning environment and her passion for linguistic exploration make her a valuable asset in the field of education.
Rubaganesh Velusamy
Mr.Ruba is an enthusiastic educator starting his first year with Prime in 2024. He has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology and has completed his post-graduate diploma in education from University Malaya. Prior to teaching, Ruba worked as a Product Quality Engineer and Technical Support Engineer in Japan and Malaysia. He is currently teaching Year 8 and 9 Science. Mr. Ruba combines his industrial experience with education to nurture the young minds.
Rishi Kumar a/l Annbalagan
Rishi holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Malaya. Currently he is in the 1st semester of his master’s in criminal justice at the University of Malaya which will be completed by 2024. He has 7 years’ experience teaching business and economics to STPM students. He is well accomplished both academically and athletically as he holds the top student record at STPM with a CGPA of 3.92 and has excelled in sports at university level in futsal, kayak, and kabaddi.
Dr Shamanni Nitta
Dr Nitta was in the Banking Industry for several years and is skilled at negotiation, customer service and English. She is a qualified with a Doctor of Ministry, MBA with Distinction, BBA Business Degree (First Class Honors) and a Diploma in Banking from the Institute of Bankers in Malaysia. She also has more than 3 years of working experience in international schools in Kuala Lumpur. Dr Nitta is a very patient teacher who believes in building student confidence and will go the extra mile for them. She also qualified as an International Baccalaureate World Business Management Lecturer. Her students of which have achieved top results. Dr Nitta teaches English First Language and Cambridge English.
SUVEEN KAUR
Suveen Kaur teaches English as a Second language to students of secondary level at Prime International Secondary School. She is an English Language graduate from UNIRAZAK and holds 10 years of experience in the education field. Her passion is in teaching and to give her best to students.
VICKNESWARAN A/L V.MANIRASA
Mr. Vickneswaran Manirasa graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics (Honours) from UNIRAZAK. Mr. Vickneswaran also lectures in Economics with an illustrious career spanning over 8 years. Beyond the classroom, Mr. Vickneswaran is an active participant of educational seminars, continuously seeking ways to enhance his teaching methodologies. Apart from that, he is passionate about sports specifically in half marathon and badminton.
